Delete your account & data

You can delete your Coinly account and everything associated with it at any time, directly from inside the app. No email, no waiting, and no need to ask us.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Coinly and go to the More tab.
- Tap Account, near the bottom of the list.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation, tick “I understand this can’t be undone”, then tap Delete Account.
You need to be signed in. The Account section only appears once you have signed in with Google — without an account there is nothing to delete, and everything Coinly holds is already only on your device. Uninstalling removes it.
Deletion happens immediately. The app signs you out and returns to its first-run state, as though it had just been installed.
What gets deleted

This cannot be undone. Coinly has no servers, so there is no copy of your data anywhere for us to restore from. Once your device data and your Drive backup are gone, they are gone. If you only want to switch accounts or free up space, use Log Out instead — that clears the device but leaves your Drive backup intact so you can restore it later.
If you disconnected Google Drive after backing up, reconnect it before deleting. Coinly can only remove a backup from a Drive it is currently connected to, so a copy left behind by an earlier connection would survive. The app tells you which of the two situations you are in before you confirm, and warns you if the Drive copy could not be removed.
Your Google account itself
Deleting your Coinly account does not touch your Google account. Coinly only signs you in and removes its own hidden backup folder from your Drive. You can also revoke Coinly's access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
Subscriptions and purchases
Deleting your account unlinks any Coinly purchase from this device, but it does not cancel a subscription — subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not by us. To cancel, go to Google Play → Subscriptions. Google retains its own billing records under its privacy policy, which we have no control over.
If you've already uninstalled the app
Uninstalling deletes everything Coinly stored on your device, but it does not remove a Google Drive backup, because that lives in your own Drive. To remove it, either reinstall Coinly, sign in, and use Delete Account, or remove Coinly's hidden app data directly from Google Drive settings under “Manage apps”.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app for any reason, email info@truetechsol.org from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Coinly account deletion request”. We'll confirm within 7 days and talk you through removing anything that remains.
Because Coinly stores nothing on its own servers, there is almost nothing for us to delete on our side — the data is on your device and in your own Drive, both of which the steps above put entirely under your control. The two exceptions are small and worth naming: if you joined the waitlist on this website, ask us and we will delete that email; and the app sends anonymous product analytics that carry no identifier we can match to you, which is exactly why we cannot pick your events out to remove them. Both are described in the Privacy Policy.
