Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Truetech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited ("Truetech", "we", "us") covering your use of the Coinly Android app and this website. Truetech is a single member company incorporated in Pakistan with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, CUIN 0350021, registered office Gulshan-e-Mohammadi, Sakrand, District Nawab Shah (Shaheed Benazirabad), Sindh 67210, Pakistan.

By installing or using Coinly you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Who can use Coinly

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract where you live. Coinly is listed on Google Play for an adult audience and is not directed at children.

What Coinly is — and what it isn't

Coinly is a personal record-keeping tool. It stores what you type in and shows it back to you as totals, budgets and breakdowns. That is the whole of what it does.

Coinly is not a financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advisor, and nothing in it is advice or a recommendation. It has no connection to any bank, does not import your transactions, and cannot verify anything you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own data and for any decision you make on the strength of it. If a figure matters — for a tax return, a loan application, a dispute — check it against your bank or your accountant, not against Coinly.

Your account

Signing in is optional. Every tracking feature works without an account. If you do sign in with Google, you are responsible for keeping that Google account secure; anyone with access to it can reach your Coinly backup and any Pro purchase attached to it.

Your data, and what we can and cannot recover

Coinly has no servers. Your wallets, transactions, categories, budgets and receipt photos live on your device. Backup is optional and writes into a private folder inside your own Google Drive that only Coinly can see. We never receive a copy. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

The direct consequence, which we would rather state plainly than bury:

• We cannot recover your data. Not from a lost or reset phone, not from a deleted backup, not from a Google account you have lost access to. There is no copy on our side to restore from.
• Receipt photos are never included in a backup — a backup holds wallets, categories, transactions and budgets only. Photos exist solely on the device that took them.
• Keeping your own backups current, and keeping access to the Google account holding them, is your responsibility.

You can delete your account and its Drive backup at any time from More → Account → Delete Account. See the account deletion page.

The free plan

The free plan is a real plan, not a trial. It has no time limit, no ads, and needs no account. It covers 1 wallet and 1 active budget, in one currency — the one you choose during setup — with unlimited transactions and categories, receipt photos, recurring entries, budget alerts and Google Drive backup and restore.

These caps apply when you create something new. Anything already in your app stays — if you end up above a cap, nothing is deleted, hidden or locked; you are simply asked to upgrade before adding more.

Coinly Pro

Coinly Pro removes those limits and adds export: unlimited wallets, unlimited budgets, any currency — wallets in more than one, converted automatically, and any base currency — and export of your transactions to CSV and PDF. It is sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not yours. It is a single payment that entitles you to Pro on Coinly for Android for as long as we offer the app, with no renewal. It is not a promise that Coinly will be published forever, and it does not extend to a different app or platform we might release later.

There is no free trial. The free plan is the trial.

Payment, renewal and refunds

• All purchases are processed by Google Play under Google Play's own terms. We never see or store your card or payment details.
• You are charged in your local currency at the price Google Play shows you at checkout, which may differ from any figure on this website because of currency, local taxes and Google's regional pricing.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in Google Play → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next charge and leaves Pro active until the period you have already paid for ends.
• Refunds are handled by Google, not by us. Because the payment never passes through us, we cannot charge or refund a card. Request refunds through Google Play under their refund policy. If something in the app is broken, tell us anyway — we would rather fix it — but the refund itself has to come from Google.
• If a purchase does not unlock Pro, the app re-checks with Google before reporting success and will tell you it could not confirm the entitlement rather than silently leaving you on the free plan. If that happens, contact us.
• Prices can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Google notifies subscribers before a renewal price takes effect.

Exchange rates

Converted totals use published reference rates fetched once a day and cached on your device. They are indicative only. They are not the rate any bank or payment provider will give you, they are not suitable for accounting, tax filing or settlement, and they may be out of date if your device has been offline. A single wallet viewed on its own is always shown in its own currency, unconverted.

Pre-release builds

Any beta, debug or test build we make available outside Google Play is provided for testing only, as is and unsupported. It may contain defects, may lose data, and receives no guarantee of updates or compatibility with later releases. Purchases do not work in such builds. Use the Google Play release for anything you care about keeping.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; do not redistribute it, resell it, or attempt to obtain Pro without paying for it; do not use it to break the law. We may end your access if you do.

Changes to the app

Coinly is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop publishing the app entirely. If we ever discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice on this site so you can back up your data (free on every plan) or export it first. Because your data is on your device, a discontinued app does not take your records with it.

Ownership

Coinly, its name, logo, design and code are owned by Truetech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership. The financial data you enter is yours — we claim no rights over it and make no use of it.

Disclaimer

Coinly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the app is free of defects or that calculations, conversions or budget figures are accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truetech is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss or corruption of data. This expressly includes financial decisions taken on the basis of anything shown in the app.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid us for Coinly in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free plan, is nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have consumer rights that these terms cannot override.

Ending these terms

You can end them at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach them. The disclaimer, liability and governing-law sections survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be noted here. Continuing to use Coinly after an update means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Sindh have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you consumer rights or a local forum that cannot be contracted away, in which case those apply.
